Andrew Corwin

A first-time writer of novels, a retired American Navy Captain, who spent the last 15 years of his military career chasing down emerging diseases in Indonesia, no less a 'storm chaser', as Director of the Navy's WHO Collaborating Center for Emerging Diseases in Jakarta. Dr. Corwin went on to manage Country operations for the US CDC in Laos. He now is a senior lecturer at Thammasat University in the Faculty of Public Health, Bangkok, Thailand. CAPT (Ret) Corwin has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers in the medical literature.
